Perry Ranch

About the Ranch

Winfield Scott Perry homesteaded what became the Perry Ranch in 1911. It started as a spinach and lettuce operation before moving into grain, hay and cattle ranching as well. The ranch is now on its fifth generation as it was passed to Ora (Ote) Scott Perry, Junior Perry and finally Charles Franklin Perry. The Perry Ranch is known for growing lettuce, spinach, red clover, and hay. They are also recognized for their impressively large horse teams and rural library that was open to the public.
